  abstract  = {The purpose of this thesis is the assessment of the use of application-oriented artificial intelligence in the corporate context. It focuses on the question of whether artificial intelligence can be considered a defining asset for the future of the business world. Through a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research using an inclusive survey for employees in various industries, the project examines how artificial intelligence is perceived in business practice through the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. The survey results are analyzed in a structured way to identify recurring patterns and key findings, providing valuable insights into the current knowledge and opinions of employees. These findings are then placed within the existing theoretical framework to draw well-founded conclusions about the role of artificial intelligence in business practice. The work shows that artificial intelligence offers many opportunities. However, it also presents challenges that need to be addressed within this context. The findings of the survey for a basis for further discussion on the future role of artificial intelligence in the business world and provide practical recommendations for its successful implementation.},
